Numbers are players. Give each guest a number as they arrive.
For 8 players you will need 2 tables, 2 mahjong sets, and 2 sheets of paper for the score cards (four to a page).
The chart says which table you sit at each round; seat winds and the dealer are settled at the table as usual. A round can be one game or a full wind, whatever suits your group.
